DO YOU REALLY THINK THAT BOB REGOLA IS PRO-GUN?
Bob Regola can pose in camo and blaze orange all he wants, but the truth of the matter is that developments designed by the Regola "family engineering business" have forever destroyed hundreds of acres of prime Westmoreland County hunting land. After Regola and his developer friends come through, the few farms and open fields that are left can hardly be used for hunting anymore. For example, Penn Township once had excellent hunting, close to home for its residents. But now the Cortina Marie development, designed by Regola, stands like a wall between the last remaining parcels of open land in the area. The houses are so close together it is no longer safe to shoot a rifle on neighboring farms for fear of hitting somebody's home or child. Similar problems have been reported in Hempfield, where Supervisor Bob Regola claims to be in favor of "Smart Growth" while developments sprout like mushrooms.
In the meantime, deer are over-running these developed areas, making gardening difficult if not impossible.
So if you think Bob Regola cares about you and your right to hunt, think again. Unless you don't mind forever driving miles and miles to hunt up in Potter County or somewhere else that Regola and his developer friends haven't gotten to yet!
